حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثنا هِلَالُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِعَمِّهِ «أَكْثِرِ الدُّعَاءَ بِالْعَافِيَةِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الْبُخَارِيِّ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ بِلَفْظٍ آخَرَ
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to his uncle: 'Increase your supplication for well-being.' This hadith is authentic according to the condition of al-Bukhari, and it has been narrated with another wording as well.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنے چچا سے ارشاد فرمایا: عافیت کی دعا کثرت سے مانگا کرو۔ یہ حدیث بخاری کی شرط پر صحیح ہے اور یہ دوسرے الفاظ سے بھی مروی ہے۔
