أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ صَاحِبِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ، قَعَدَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَكَتَبُوا مَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ، فَإِذَا رَاحَ الْإِمَامُ، طَوَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ الصُّحُفَ وَدَخَلَتْ تَسْتَمِعُ الذِّكْرَ "
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'On the day of Friday, the angels sit at the doors of the mosque recording those who come for the Friday prayer. When the Imam proceeds (for the sermon), the angels roll up their scrolls and enter to listen to the sermon.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'جمعے کے دن فرشتے مسجد کے دروازوں پر بیٹھ جاتے ہیں اور جمعے کے لیے آنے والوں کو لکھتے ہیں۔ جب امام (خطبے کے لیے) نکلتا ہے تو فرشتے صحیفے لپیٹ لیتے ہیں اور ذکر (خطبہ) سننے کے لیے اندر آ جاتے ہیں۔'
