Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" إِذَا أُقِيمَتْ الصَّلَاةُ، فَلَا صَلَاةَ إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةُ ". قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : إِذَا كَانَ فِي بَيْتِهِ، فَالْبَيْتُ أَهْوَنُ
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "When the Iqamah is called, there is no prayer except the obligatory one." Abu Muhammad said: When the Iqamah is called, the Sunnah should not be started.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "جب اقامت کہہ دی جائے تو فرض کے سوا کوئی نماز نہیں۔" ابو محمد نے کہا: جب اقامت کہہ دی جائے تو سنت شروع نہ کرے۔
