أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَطَّافٍ L275 ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" أَرْبَعٌ لَا يَحْرُمْنَ عَلَى جُنُبٍ وَلَا حَائِضٍ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ "، سُئِلَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد عَبْد اللَّهِ : يَقْرَأُ الْجُنُبُ آيَةً آيَةً؟، قَالَ : لَا يُعْجِبُنِي
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "Four things are not forbidden for a person in a state of janabah or a menstruating woman: SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (All praise is for Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)." Abu Muhammad Abdullah was asked: Can a junub recite verse by verse? He said: "I do not approve of it."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: چار چیزیں جنبی اور حائضہ پر حرام نہیں: سبحان اللہ، الحمد للہ، لا الہ الا اللہ اور اللہ اکبر۔ ابو محمد عبد اللہ سے پوچھا گیا: کیا جنبی ایک ایک آیت پڑھ سکتا ہے؟ فرمایا: مجھے یہ پسند نہیں۔
