قَالَ : وأَخْبَرَنِي أحمد بن مُحَمَّدٌ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، قَالَ :" أَجْهَلُ النَّاسِ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَا يَعْلَمُ، وَأَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِمَا يَعْلَمُ، وَأَفْضَلُ النَّاسِ أَخْشَعَهُمْ لِلَّهِ G "
English Translation
Sufyan ibn Uyaynah stated: "The most ignorant of people is the one who abandons what he knows. The most knowledgeable of people is the one who acts upon what he knows. And the most virtuous of people is the one who has the most khushu (humility) before Allah the Almighty."
Urdu Translation
سفیان بن عیینہ نے فرمایا: سب سے جاہل وہ ہے جو اپنے علم کو چھوڑ دے۔ سب سے عالم وہ ہے جو اپنے علم پر عمل کرے۔ اور سب سے افضل وہ ہے جو اللہ عزوجل کے لیے سب سے زیادہ خشوع والا ہو۔
