أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجَعْدُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : شَكَى أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَطَشَ،" فَدَعَا بِعُسٍّ، فَصُبَّ فِيهِ مَاءٌ، وَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ فِيهِ "، قَالَ : فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْمَاءِ يَنْبُعُ عُيُونًا مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالنَّاسُ يَسْتَقُونَ حَتَّى اسْتَقَى النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: 'The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) complained to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about thirst. He called for a large cup, and water was poured into it. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) placed his blessed hand in it.' He (the narrator) said: 'I kept watching the water gushing forth in springs from between the blessed fingers of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), while the people drew water until all of them had taken their fill.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے بیان کیا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے صحابہ نے آپ سے پیاس کی شکایت کی۔ آپ نے ایک بڑا پیالہ منگوایا جس میں پانی ڈالا گیا اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس میں اپنا ہاتھ مبارک رکھا۔ (راوی نے) کہا: میں دیکھتا رہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی انگلیوں کے درمیان سے پانی کے چشمے پھوٹ رہے ہیں اور لوگ پانی لے رہے ہیں یہاں تک کہ سب لوگوں نے پانی لے لیا۔
