حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ عِيسَى ، عَنْ مَعْنٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَنَّهُ كَانَ " يَقْرَأُ الْمُسَبِّحَاتِ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ، وَيَقُولُ :" إِنَّ فِيهِنَّ آيَةً تَعْدِلُ أَلْفَ آيَةٍ "
English Translation
Khalid ibn Ma'dan narrated from the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he used to recite the Musabbihat (the surahs that begin with glorification) before sleeping, and he would say: "Indeed, in them is a verse that equals a thousand verses."
Urdu Translation
خالد بن معدان سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سوتے وقت مسبحات (تسبیح سے شروع ہونے والی سورتیں) پڑھتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے: "بے شک ان میں ایک آیت ہے جو ہزار آیتوں کے برابر ہے۔"
