حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، وَحَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا فِي زَوْجٍ وَأَبَوَيْنِ :" لِلزَّوْجِ النِّصْفُ، وَلِلْأُمِّ ثُلُثُ جَمِيعِ الْمَالِ، وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِلْأَبِ "
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) ruled regarding a husband and parents: "The husband gets one half, the mother gets one third of the entire estate, and the remainder is for the father."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے شوہر اور والدین کے بارے میں فتویٰ دیا: "شوہر کو نصف، ماں کو کل مال کا تہائی، اور باقی باپ کا۔"
