Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ :" إِنَّكُمْ وَفَّيْتُمْ سَبْعِينَ أُمَّةً أَنْتُمْ آخِرُهَا وَأَكْرَمُهَا عَلَى اللَّهِ "
English Translation
Hadrat Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated through his grandson Bahz: I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) state: 'You have completed seventy nations — you are the last of them and the most honored of them in the sight of Allah.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت معاویہ بن حیدہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ان کے پوتے بہز کے واسطے سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ارشاد فرماتے سنا: 'تم نے ستر امتیں پوری کی ہیں — تم ان میں سب سے آخری اور اللہ کے نزدیک سب سے معزز ہو۔'
