Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ. قَالَ :" أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَكَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَدِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَمِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا "
English Translation
Hadrat Abd al-Rahman bin Abza (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: When the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would reach the morning, he would say: 'We have reached the morning upon the natural disposition of Islam, upon the word of sincerity (La ilaha illallah), upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad, and upon the creed of our father Ibrahim — upright and Muslim.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبدالرحمن بن ابزیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب صبح فرماتے تو کہتے: 'ہم نے فطرت اسلام پر صبح کی، کلمہ اخلاص پر، اپنے نبی محمد (صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے دین پر، اور اپنے باپ ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی ملت پر — جو حنیف (یکسو) اور مسلم تھے۔'
