Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" مَنِ ابْتَاعَ ثَمَرَةً فَأَصَابَتْهُ جَائِحَةٌ، فَلَا يَأْخُذَنَّ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا. بِمَ تَأْخُذُ مَالَ أَخِيكَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ؟ "
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever purchases fruit and it is struck by a calamity, he should not take anything from the seller. On what basis would you take the wealth of your brother without right?'
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'جس نے پھل خریدا اور اسے کوئی آفت پہنچی تو وہ اس (بیچنے والے) سے کچھ نہ لے۔ تم کس بنیاد پر اپنے بھائی کا مال ناحق لیتے ہو؟'
