Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِمُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ : أَكَانَ أَنَسٌ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلنُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ :" ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ؟ ". قَالَ : نَعَمْ
English Translation
It was narrated that Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) used to mention that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to al-Nu'man ibn Muqarrin: 'The sister's son of a people is one of them.'
Urdu Translation
روایت ہے کہ حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے تھے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے نعمان بن مقرن سے ارشاد فرمایا: 'قوم کا بھانجا انہی میں سے ہے۔'
