حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" هَذَا وَهَذَا سَوَاء، وَقَالَ : بِخِنْصِرِهِ وَإِبْهَامِهِ "
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated from the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "This and this are equal" — and he indicated his little finger and his thumb.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "یہ اور یہ برابر ہیں" — اور آپ نے اپنی چھنگلی اور انگوٹھے کی طرف اشارہ فرمایا۔
