Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { لَا يَنْكِحُ اَلْمُحْرِمُ, وَلَا يُنْكِحُ, وَلَا يَخْطُبُ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه مسلم ( 1409 ).
English Translation
Hadrat 'Uthman bin ’Affan (RAA) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated:“A Muhrim (one in the state of Ihram) must not contract marriage, nor help others contract marriage, nor get engaged to marry." Related by Muslim.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: مُحرِم نہ نکاح کرے، نہ نکاح کروائے اور نہ منگنی کرے۔ (مسلم)
