Arabic (Original)
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: { كَانَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ, وَعُمَرُ: يُصَلُّونَ الْعِيدَيْنِ قَبْلَ اَلْخُطْبَةِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (963)، ومسلم (888).
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) that Allah's Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) Hadrat Abu Bakr and 'Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) used to offer the 'Eid prayer before the Khutbah (religious talk - sermon). .
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم، حضرت ابوبکر اور حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما عید کی نماز خطبے سے پہلے پڑھایا کرتے تھے۔ (متفق علیہ)
