Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ اَلْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا سَجَدْتَ فَضَعْ كَفَّيْكَ , وَارْفَعْ مِرْفَقَيْكَ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ . 11 - صحيح . رواه مسلم (494) .
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Al-Bara' bin 'Azib (may Allah be well pleased with him) that Allah's Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "When you prostrate, place the palms of your hands on the ground and raise your elbows." [Reported by Muslim).
Urdu Translation
حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم سجدہ کرو تو اپنی ہتھیلیاں زمین پر رکھو اور کہنیاں اٹھاؤ (زمین پر نہ بچھاؤ)۔
