Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ : { اَلْمُسْتَبَّانِ مَا قَالَا, فَعَلَى اَلْبَادِئِ, مَا لَمْ يَعْتَدِ اَلْمَظْلُومُ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ. 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه مسلم (2487).
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated:“When two men insult one another, what they say is mainly the fault of the one who began it, so long as the one who is oppressed does not transgress.” Related by Muslim.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "دو آدمیوں کی آپس میں گالم گلوچ میں جو کچھ کہا جائے اس کا وبال شروع کرنے والے پر ہوتا ہے جب تک مظلوم حد سے نہ بڑھے"۔ اسے مسلم نے روایت کیا ہے۔
