English Translation
Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked a man: "O so-and-so, did you not fast at the end of this month?" He said: "No, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When you finish (the fasts of Ramadan), then fast those (missed) days." In another narration, the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: "Did you not fast the last two days of Sha'ban?"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کسی شخص سے پوچھا:”اے فلاں کے باپ! کیا تم نے اس مہینے کے آخر میں روزے نہیں رکھے؟“تو اس نے عرض کی کہ نہیں یا رسول اللہ! آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جب تم (رمضان کے) روزوں سے فارغ ہو جاؤ تو وہ روزے رکھ لینا۔“دوسری روایت میں ہے کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”شعبان کے اخیر میں دو روزے نہیں رکھے؟“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 965]
