English Translation
In this narration, Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) grew old, he used to say: 'I wish I had accepted the concession of the Prophet (peace be upon him) (to fast only three days in every month).'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ اس روایت میں کہتے ہیں کہسیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما جب بوڑھے ہو گئے تو کہا کرتے تھے کہ اے کاش! میں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی (ہر ماہ میں تین روزے رکھنے کی) اجازت قبول کر لی ہوتی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 962]
