English Translation
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), who participated in twelve military expeditions with the Prophet (peace be upon him), said: "I heard four things from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) which I found admirable: 'No woman should travel a two-day journey without her husband or a mahram. Fasting is not permissible on two days — Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. No prayer should be offered after two prayers — after Asr until sunset, and after Fajr until sunrise. And no journey should be undertaken except to three mosques: al-Masjid al-Haram, my mosque (al-Masjid al-Nabawi), and al-Masjid al-Aqsa (Bayt al-Maqdis).'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہجو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ بارہ غزوات میں شریک ہوئے، کہتے تھے کہ میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے چار باتیں سنی ہیں، وہ مجھے اچھی معلوم ہوئیں اور بھلی لگیں (وہ باتیں یہ ہیں):”کوئی عورت بغیر اپنے شوہر یا محرم کے دو دن کا سفر نہ کرے اور دو دنوں میں یعنی عیدالفطر اور عیدالاضحی میں روزہ نہ رکھنا چاہیے اور دو نمازوں کے بعد یعنی عصر کی نماز کے بعد غروب آفتاب تک اور صبح کی نماز کے بعد طلوع آفتاب تک کوئی نماز نہیں پڑھنی چاہیے اور سفر نہ کرنا چاہیے مگر تین مسجدوں کی طرف مسجدالحرام (یعنی کعبہ) اور میری مسجد یعنی مسجدنبوی اور مسجدالاقصیٰ یعنی بیت المقدس۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 899]
