English Translation
Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We used to eat the meat of the sacrificial animals for only three days in Mina (and were not allowed to take it outside Mina). Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) granted us permission and said: 'Eat and take provisions.' So we ate and took provisions with us."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم لوگ قربانی کا گوشت تین دن سے زیادہ نہ کھاتے تھے اور وہ بھی صرف منیٰ میں (منیٰ سے باہر گوشت لے جانے کی ممانعت تھی) اس کے بعد نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہمیں اجازت عنایت کی اور فرمایا:”کھاؤ اور ساتھ لے جاؤ، پس ہم نے کھایا اور ساتھ لے آئے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 849]
