English Translation
Asma' bint Abi Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me: "O Asma', do not withhold (your wealth), or else your provision will be withheld from you." In another narration: "Do not count your wealth, or else Allah will count (limit) what He gives you. Give (generously) without counting, and Allah will give to you without counting."
Urdu Translation
سیدہ اسماء بنت ابی بکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھ سے فرمایا تھا:”اے اسماء! خیرات کو مت روکو ورنہ تمہارے رزق (میں سے خیر و برکت) کو بھی روک لیا جائے گا۔ ایک دوسری حدیث میں یہ الفاظ بھی آئے ہیں کہ”مال و دولت کو گنو مت ورنہ اللہ بھی تجھے گن گن کر دے گا (یعنی بغیر حساب کے خیرات کرو تو اللہ تعالیٰ بھی بےشمار دے گا)۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 724]
