English Translation
Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took from us a pledge at the time of the Bay'ah (oath of allegiance) that we would not wail. But only five women fulfilled this pledge: Umm Sulaym, Umm al-Ala, the daughter of Abu Sabrah who was the wife of Mu'adh, and two other women—or she said: the daughter of Abu Sabrah, the wife of Mu'adh, and one other woman.

ام عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ہم لوگوں سے بیعت کے وقت یہ عہد لیا تھا کہ ہم نوحہ نہ کریں گی مگر (اس عہد کو) سوائے پانچ عورتوں کے کسی نے پورا نہیں کیا(1)ام سلیم(2)ام علاء(3)ابوسبرہ کی بیٹی جو سیدنا معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی بیوی تھیں(4)دو عورتیں اور۔ یا یوں کہا کہ ابوسبرہ کی بیٹی اور معاذ کی بیوی اور ایک اور عورت۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 664]
