English Translation
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated the full hadith about the solar eclipse. (See the chapter on giving charity during a solar eclipse.) In this narration, after the Messenger of Allah's (peace be upon him) statement: "I saw Hellfire, one part of it consuming the other," she said the Prophet (peace be upon him) also said: "And I saw Amr ibn Luhayy in the Hellfire—he was the one who introduced the practice of setting animals free in the name of idols."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نےسورج گرہن کے متعلق پوری حدیث ذکر کی (دیکھئیے کتاب: گرہن کے بیان میں۔۔۔ باب: سورج گرہن میں صدقہ دینا۔۔۔) اور اس روایت میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے اس قول کے بعد کہ”یقیناً میں نے جہنم کو دیکھا کہ اس کا ایک حصہ دوسرے حصے کو کھائے جا رہا ہے۔“کہا کہ (رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا):”اور میں نے جہنم میں عمرو بن لحی کو دیکھا اور یہ عمرو بن لحی وہ شخص ہے جس نے بتوں کے نام پر جانوروں کے آزاد کرنے کی رسم ایجاد کی ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 628]
