English Translation
Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) once said to me: "O Abdullah, do not be like so-and-so who used to pray at night but then abandoned the night prayer."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ایک مرتبہ مجھ سے فرمایا:”اے عبداللہ! تم فلاں شخص کی طرح نہ ہو جانا کہ وہ رات کو اٹھ کر نماز پڑھا کرتا تھا پھر اس نے رات کا اٹھنا اور نماز پڑھنا ترک کر دیا تھا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 610]
