English Translation
Abdullah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) went out to an open area for Istisqa' (rain prayer) and reversed his cloak. In another narration, he said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماستسقاء کے لیے (جنگل کی طرف) تشریف لے گئے اور (اس وقت) آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے چادر الٹ لی۔ اور ایک دوسری روایت میں کہتے ہیں کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے دو رکعت نماز پڑھی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 547]
