English Translation
Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray Witr while riding his mount during travel.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسفر میں نماز وتر اپنی سواری پر پڑھا کرتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 543]
