English Translation
Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said that he prayed with Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in Basra, and Ali reminded them of the prayer they used to perform with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He said: "He (Ali) used to say the takbir (Allahu Akbar) every time he stood up and every time he bowed."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہانھوں نے بصرہ میں امیرالمؤمنین علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی تو امیرالمؤمنین علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے ہمیں وہ نماز یاد دلا دی جو ہم رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ پھر (سیدنا عمران رضی اللہ عنہ نے) کہا کہ وہ جب اٹھتے تھے اور جب جھکتے تھے تو تکبیر (یعنی اللہ اکبر) کہتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 451]
