English Translation
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "During the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq), Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) was wounded in his median vein. The Prophet (peace be upon him) set up a tent for him in the mosque so he could visit him closely. The tent of the Banu Ghifar was also in the mosque. Blood began flowing toward them, and they exclaimed: 'O people of the tent, what is this coming from your side?' It was Sa'd's wound bleeding, and he died from it."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ(غزوہ) خندق کے دن سیدنا سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کو ہفت اندام (ایک رگ کا نام ہے) میں زخم لگ گیا تو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ایک خیمہ مسجد میں نصب کیا تاکہ قریب سے ان کی عیادت کریں۔ پس یکایک اس حال میں کہ مسجد میں بنی غفار کا (بھی) خیمہ تھا ان کی طرف خون بہہ کر آنے لگا تو ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ اے خیمہ والو! یہ کیا ہے؟ جو تمہاری طرف سے ہمارے پاس آتا ہے؟ تو (کیا دیکھتے ہیں کہ) سیدنا سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کے زخم سے خون بہہ رہا ہے پس وہ اسی سے شہید ہو گئے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 291]
