English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "None of you should long for death, for if he is a doer of good, it is hoped that his good deeds will increase, and if he is a wrongdoer, it is hoped that he will desist from them and repent."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”تم میں سے کوئی موت کی تمنا نہ کرے کیونکہ اگر وہ نیکوکار ہے تو امید ہے کہ اس کی نیکیاں زیادہ ہو جائیں گی اور جو بدکار ہے تو امید ہے کہ وہ ان سے باز آ جائے اور توبہ کر لے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2211]
