English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "When Allah the Exalted created mercy, He created it in a hundred parts. He kept ninety-nine parts with Himself and sent one part down to the whole of creation. Were the disbelievers to know of all the mercy that is with Allah, they would never (despite their disbelief and polytheism and the like) despair of Paradise; and were the believers to know of all the punishment that is with Allah, they would never (despite their creed, faith, and righteous deeds) feel secure from the Fire."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، فرماتے تھے:”اللہ تعالیٰ نے جس وقت رحمت کو پیدا کیا تو اس کے سو حصے پیدا فرمائے، ننانوے حصے اپنے پاس رکھے اور ایک حصہ پوری مخلوق کی طرف بھیجا۔ پس اگر کافر لوگ اللہ کے پاس والی تمام رحمت کو جان لیں تو (باوجود اپنے کفر و شرک وغیرہ کے) کبھی بھی جنت سے ناامید نہ ہوں اور اگر مومن اللہ کے یہاں کے تمام عذاب کو جان لیں تو (باوجود اپنے عقیدہ، ایمان سے اور عمل صالح کے) دوزخ سے نڈر نہ ہوں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2106]
