English Translation
Narrated Aisha, the Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from laziness and from extreme old age, and I seek refuge in You from sin and from debt and liability. I also seek refuge in You from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire and the punishment of the Fire, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of wealth and the trial of poverty. And I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Messiah, the Dajjal. O Allah! Wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart of sins as You cleanse a white garment of filth, and place between me and my sins a distance as great as the distance between the east and the west."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرمایا کرتے تھے (ترجمہ)”اے اللہ! میں سستی اور بےانتہا بڑھاپے سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں اور گناہ اور قرض و تاوان سے بھی تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں، قبر کے فتنے اور قبر کے عذاب سے بھی تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں، دوزخ کے فتنے اور دوزخ کے عذاب سے بھی تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں، مالداری کے فتنے اور غربت کے فتنے سے بھی تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں، اور مسیح دجال کے فتنے سے بھی یااللہ! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں۔ یااللہ! میرے گناہوں کو برف کے پانی اور اولوں سے دھو ڈال اور میرا دل گناہوں سے ایسا صاف کر دے جیسے سفید کپڑے کو تو میل کچل سے صاف کر دیتا ہے اور مجھ میں اور میرے گناہوں میں اتنا فاصلہ کر دے جتنا مشرق و مغرب میں فاصلہ ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2083]
