English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The rider should greet the one on foot, the one walking on foot should greet the one sitting, and the smaller group should greet the larger group."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ ہی سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”سوار آدمی پیدل چلنے والے کو سلام کرے اور پیدل چلنے والا شخص بیٹھے ہوئے شخص کو سلام کرے اور کم آدمیوں کی جماعت زیادہ آدمیوں کی جماعت کو سلام کرے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2058]
