English Translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The Jews and Christians do not dye their hair, so act contrary to them." (That is, dye your hair; but avoiding black color is necessary.)
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”یہود و نصاریٰ بالوں کو خضاب نہیں کرتے لہٰذا تم ان کے خلاف کرو۔“(یعنی خضاب کیا کرو۔ مگر سیاہ رنگ سے اجتناب ضروری ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1998]
