English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), in another report, said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "This contagion is nothing, nor is Safar (inauspicious), nor is the owl inauspicious." On hearing this, a Bedouin said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): Then why is it that my camels, which are (agile and swift) like gazelles in the sandy (desert), when a mangy camel comes and moves among them, they too become mangy from the contact with the mangy camel? He (peace be upon him) said: "Then where did the mange of the first one come from?"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ ہی ایک دوسری روایت میں کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے یہ فرمایا تھا:”یہ چھوت چھات کوئی چیز ہے اور نہ صفر اور نہ الو منحوس ہے۔“یہ سن کر ایک اعرابی نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے عرض کی کہ پھر میرے اونٹوں کا یہ حال کیوں ہوتا ہے کہ ریت (کے جنگل) میں ہرنوں کی مثل (چست اور چالاک) ہوتے ہیں پھر ایک خارشی اونٹ آتا ہے ان میں گھومتا پھرتا ہے تو خارشی اونٹ کے ملنے سے وہ بھی خارشی ہو جاتے ہیں؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”پہلے کی کھجلی کہاں سے آئی تھی؟“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1970]
