English Translation
The Mother of the Believers, Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her), said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Indeed, this black seed (kalonji) is a cure for every disease except al-sam." I said: What is al-sam? He (peace be upon him) said: "Death."

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا:”بیشک یہ کالا دانہ (کلونجی) سام کے علاوہ ہر بیماری کی دوا ہے۔“میں نے کہا کہ سام کیا چیز ہے؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”موت۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1965]
