English Translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said to some of his companions: Shall I show you a woman of Paradise? They said: Yes, why not. He said: This dark-complexioned woman came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: I suffer from epileptic seizures, and my body becomes exposed. Pray to Allah for me. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If you wish, be patient and you will attain Paradise; otherwise I will pray to Allah and He will grant you healing." She said: (It is better that) I be patient, but pray to Allah that my body not become exposed. So he (peace be upon him) prayed for her (and thereafter her body was never exposed).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہانھوں نے اپنے بعض ساتھیوں سے کہا کہ کیا میں تمہیں جنتی عورت دکھلاؤں؟ انھوں نے کہا ہاں کیوں نہیں۔ کہا یہی سانولی سی عورت نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی خدمت میں آئی اور عرض کی کہ مجھے مرگی کا دورہ پڑتا ہے اور میرا جسم ظاہر ہو جاتا ہے۔ میرے لیے دعا کر دیجئیے۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اگر تو چاہے تو صبر کر لے تو تجھے جنت ملے گی ورنہ میں اللہ سے دعا کروں گا وہ تجھے صحت دیدے گا۔“اس نے عرض کی (کہ بہتر ہے) میں صبر کر لوں گی (لیکن) یہ میرا بدن جو ظاہر ہو جاتا ہے اس کے لیے اللہ سے دعا کر دیجئیے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے دعا کر دی (پھر اس کا بدن کبھی نظر نہ آیا)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1954]
