English Translation
Narrated Aisha, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed the bath of janabah, he would wash his hands, perform ablution as for prayer, then bathe. He would run his fingers through his hair until he was satisfied that the scalp was wet, then pour water over it three times, and then wash the rest of his body.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب غسل جنابت فرماتے تو اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوتے اور وضو فرماتے جس طرح آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا وضو نماز کے لیے (ہوتا تھا) پھر غسل کرتے اپنے ہاتھ سے اپنے بالوں کا خلال کرتے تھے یہاں تک کہ جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسمجھ لیتے کہ کھال تر ہو گئی ہے تو اس پر تین بار پانی بہاتے پھر اپنے باقی ماندہ بدن کو دھوتے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 195]
