English Translation
Narrated Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "On the Day of Resurrection death will be brought in the form of a piebald ram. Then a caller will call out, 'O people of Paradise!' They will raise their necks and look towards it, and he (the angel) will say, 'Do you recognize this?' They will say, 'Yes, this is death,' and all of them will have seen it (at the time of their dying, so they will recognize it). Then he will call out, 'O people of the Fire!' They too will raise their necks and look towards it, and he (the angel) will say, 'Do you recognize this?' They will say, 'Yes, this is death,' and all of them too will have seen it (at the time of dying). Then at that moment death will be slaughtered, and he (the angel) will say, 'O people of Paradise! You will now remain in Paradise forever; no one will die. And O people of the Fire! You will now remain in the Fire forever; no one will die.' (At that moment the people of the Fire will feel regret.)" Then he (the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him) recited this verse: "(O Muhammad!) Warn these people of the Day of Regret and Sorrow, when the matter will be decided, while they are in heedlessness," that is, the people of the world are sunk in heedlessness, "and they do not believe." (Surah Maryam: 39)
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”قیامت کے دن موت ایسے مینڈھے کی صورت میں لائی جائے گی، جو چتکبرا ہو گا، پھر ایک پکارنے والا پکارے گا کہ اے بہشت والو! وہ گردن اٹھائیں گے اور ادھر دیکھیں گے تو وہ (فرشتہ) کہے گا کہ کیا تم اسے پہنچانتے ہو؟ وہ کہیں گے ہاں یہ موت ہے اور سب نے اسے (اپنے مرتے وقت) دیکھا تھا (اس لیے پہچان لیں گے) پھر وہ پکارے گا کہ اے دوزخ والو! وہ بھی گردن اٹھا کر ادھر دیکھیں گے تو وہ (فرشتہ) کہے گا کہ کیا تم اسے پہچانتے ہو؟ وہ کہیں گے ہاں یہ موت ہے، ان سب نے بھی (مرتے وقت) اسے دیکھا تھا پھر اسی وقت موت ذبح کر دی جائے گی اور وہ (فرشتہ) کہے گا کہ اے اہل جنت! تم اب ہمیشہ جنت میں رہو گے، کسی کو موت نہ آئے گی اور اے اہل دوزخ! تم اب ہمیشہ دوزخ میں رہو گے کسی کو موت نہ آئے گی (تب اس وقت دوزخی حسرت کریں گے)۔“پھر (رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے) یہ آیت پڑھی”(اے محمد!) ان لوگوں کو اس حسرت و افسوس کے دن سے ڈرایے جبکہ کام انجام کو پہنچا دیا جائے گا اور یہ لوگ غفلت ہی میں رہ جائیں گے۔“یعنی دنیا کے لوگ غفلت میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں۔“اور وہ ایمان نہیں لاتے۔“(سورۃ مریم: 39)[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1755]
