English Translation
Narrated Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): When the Prophet (peace be upon him) suffered what was destined for him on the Day of Uhud and the polytheists retreated, the Prophet feared they might return and said: "Who will go after them?" Seventy Companions responded to his call. The narrator, Urwah, said that Abu Bakr and Az-Zubair were among them.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہجب غزوہ احد کے دن نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو جو صدمہ پہنچنا تھا پہنچ چکا اور مشرک واپس چلے گئے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کے دوبارہ آ جانے کے ڈر سے فرمایا:”کون ہے جو ان کفار کے پیچھے جائے؟“یہ سن کر ستر صحابہ کرام نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا فرمان قبول کیا۔ (راوی حدیث عروہ) کہتے ہیں کہ ان میں سیدنا ابوبکر اور سیدنا زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما شامل تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1625]
