English Translation
Narrated Sad bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), the conqueror of Persia: On the Day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took arrows from his quiver, placed them before me, and said: "Shoot, Sad! May my father and mother be sacrificed for you!"
Urdu Translation
فاتح ایران سیدنا سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے احد کے دن اپنے ترکش سے تیر نکال کر میرے سامنے رکھے اور فرمایا:”(اے سعد رضی اللہ عنہ) تیر چلا تجھ پر میرے ماں باپ قربان ہوں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1620]
