English Translation
Jundub ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Among those before you, there was a man who was wounded. He could not bear it, so he took a knife and cut his hand. The bleeding did not stop until he died. Allah the Almighty said: 'My servant hastened his own death; I have forbidden Paradise to him.'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جندب بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”تم سے پہلی امتوں میں ایک شخص تھا، اس کو ایک زخم لگا تو اس نے چھری لے کر اپنا ہاتھ کاٹ ڈلا، خون بہتا رہا (رکا ہی نہیں) یہاں تک کہ وہ مر گیا تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا:”اس شخص نے جلدی کر کے جان دی، میں نے بھی جنت اس پر حرام کر دی۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1447]
