English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him): A man asked him, "Can you show me how the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to perform ablution?" He said, "Yes." He called for water, poured it on his hands, washed them twice, rinsed his mouth three times, snuffed water into his nose and blew it out, washed his face three times, washed his arms up to the elbows twice, wiped his head with both hands moving them forward and backward—starting from the front of the head and taking them to the nape, then bringing them back to where he started—then washed his feet.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے ایک شخص نے کہا کہکیا آپ مجھے دکھلا سکتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکس طرح وضو کیا کرتے تھے؟ تو عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا ہاں (میں دکھا) سکتا ہوں۔ پھر انھوں نے پانی منگوایا اور اپنے ہاتھ پر ڈالا پھر اپنے ہاتھ دو مرتبہ دھوئے پھر تین مرتبہ کلی کی اور ناک میں پانی ڈال کر جھاڑا پھر اپنے منہ کو تین مرتبہ دھویا، پھر دونوں ہاتھ کہنیوں تک دو مرتبہ دھوئے، پھر اپنے سر کا اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں سے مسح کر لیا یعنی ان کو آگے لائے اور پیچھے لے گئے۔ سر کے پہلے حصے سے ابتداء کی اور دونوں ہاتھ گدی تک لے گئے پھر ان دونوں کو وہیں تک واپس لائے جہاں سے شروع کیا تھا پھر اپنے دونوں پاؤں دھو ڈالے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 143]
