English Translation
Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whenever a person is killed unjustly, a share of the blood-guilt falls upon the first son of Adam (Qabil/Cain), for he was the first to establish the practice of murder."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ (بن مسعود) رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جب کوئی شخص دنیا میں ناحق (ظلم سے) مارا جاتا ہے تو اس کے خون کے وبال کا ایک حصہ آدم کے پہلے بیٹے (قابیل) پر پڑتا ہے کیونکہ اس نے سب سے پہلے ناحق خون کی بنا قائم کی تھی۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1403]
