English Translation
Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that a woman was found killed in one of the battles of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so the Prophet (peace be upon him) prohibited the killing of women and children.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے کسی جہاد میں ایک عورت مقتولہ ملی تو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے عورتوں اور بچوں کے قتل سے منع فرما دیا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1293]
