حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِنَّ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ " لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ ".
English Translation
Abd al-A'la bin Hammad narrated to us, he said Yazid bin Zuray' narrated to us, he said Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Abu al-'Aliyah, from Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who said: the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate with these words at times of distress: "La ilaha illallahul-'Azimul-Halim. La ilaha illallahu Rabbul-'Arshil-'Azim. La ilaha illallahu Rabbus-samawati wa Rabbul-'Arshil-Karim" (There is no god but Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, the Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no god but Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the Noble Throne).
Urdu Translation
ہم سے عبدالاعلیٰ بن حماد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یزید بن زریع نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سعید نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے، ان سے حضرت ابوالعالیہ نے اور ان سے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے بیان کیا: نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تکلیف کے وقت ان کلمات سے دعا فرمایا کرتے تھے: "لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ" (اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ عظیم بردبار ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ عرشِ عظیم کا رب ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ آسمانوں کا رب ہے اور عرشِ کریم کا رب ہے)۔
