حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الأَصْبَهَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَهَبَ الرِّجَالُ بِحَدِيثِكَ، فَاجْعَلْ لَنَا مِنْ نَفْسِكَ، يَوْمًا نَأْتِيكَ فِيهِ تُعَلِّمُنَا مِمَّا عَلَّمَكَ اللَّهُ. فَقَالَ " اجْتَمِعْنَ فِي يَوْمِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فِي مَكَانِ كَذَا وَكَذَا ". فَاجْتَمَعْنَ فَأَتَاهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَعَلَّمَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَهُ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ " مَا مِنْكُنَّ امْرَأَةٌ تُقَدِّمُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا مِنْ وَلَدِهَا ثَلاَثَةً، إِلاَّ كَانَ لَهَا حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ ". فَقَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اثْنَيْنِ قَالَ فَأَعَادَتْهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " وَاثْنَيْنِ وَاثْنَيْنِ وَاثْنَيْنِ ".
English Translation
Musaddad narrated to us, he said Abu Awanah narrated to us, from Hadrat Abd al-Rahman bin al-Asbahani, from Abu Salih Dhakwan, from Hadrat Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: A woman came to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and submitted, "O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! The men take away your narrations (by attending your gatherings), so appoint a day for us from yourself in which we may come to you and you teach us from what Allah the Exalted has taught you." He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: "Gather on such-and-such a day at such-and-such a place." So they gathered, and the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came to them and taught them from what Allah the Exalted had granted him. Then he declared: "Any woman among you who sends forth three of her children (i.e., three children who pass away before reaching maturity), they shall be a barrier for her against the Fire." A woman submitted, "O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! And two?" The narrator said she repeated it twice. Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: "And two, and two, and two."
Urdu Translation
ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے حضرت ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبدالرحمٰن بن اصبہانی نے، ان سے ابوصالح ذکوان نے اور ان سے حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ایک خاتون رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی بارگاہ میں حاضر ہوئیں اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مرد حضرات آپ کی احادیث (سن کر) لے جاتے ہیں، تو آپ اپنی طرف سے ہمارے لیے بھی ایک دن مقرر فرما دیجیے جس میں ہم آپ کے پاس آئیں اور آپ ہمیں اس علم سے سکھائیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو سکھایا ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "فلاں فلاں دن فلاں فلاں جگہ جمع ہو جاؤ۔" چنانچہ وہ جمع ہوئیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ان کے پاس تشریف لائے اور انہیں اس علم سے تعلیم دی جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو عطا فرمایا تھا، پھر ارشاد فرمایا: "تم میں سے جو عورت اپنے سامنے اپنی تین اولاد بھیج دے (یعنی تین بچے جنہوں نے بلوغت سے پہلے وفات پائی ہو) تو وہ اس کے لیے جہنم سے حجاب (پردہ) ہوں گے۔" ایک خاتون نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اور دو؟ راوی نے کہا: انہوں نے دو بار یہ بات دہرائی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اور دو، اور دو، اور دو۔"
