حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ شَهِدْتُ الْمُتَلاَعِنَيْنِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ، عَشْرَةَ فُرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا.
English Translation
Hadrat Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: 'I witnessed the couple who invoked mutual curses (li'an), and I was fifteen years of age at that time. They were separated from one another.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے لعان کرنے والے میاں بیوی کو دیکھا، اس وقت میری عمر پندرہ سال تھی، اور ان دونوں کے درمیان جدائی کرا دی گئی۔
