Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَاحَ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ نُزُلَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ كُلَّمَا غَدَا أَوْ رَاحَ ".
English Translation
Hadrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'O people, I am your Imam, so do not precede me in bowing, prostrating, standing, or sitting, for I see you from in front of me and from behind me.' Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) also narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, if you saw what I see, you would laugh little and weep much.' The Companions submitted: 'What did you see, O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)?' He stated: 'Paradise and Hellfire.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اے لوگو! میں تمہارا امام ہوں، لہٰذا رکوع و سجود اور قیام و قعود میں مجھ سے آگے نہ بڑھو، کیونکہ میں تمہیں اپنے آگے اور پیچھے دیکھتا ہوں۔ انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے! اگر تم وہ دیکھو جو میں دیکھتا ہوں تو تم ہنسو کم اور روؤ زیادہ۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا: آپ نے کیا دیکھا؟ فرمایا: جنت اور جہنم۔
