Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَابْنِ، عَبَّاسٍ رضى الله عنهم أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَبِثَ بِمَكَّةَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ يُنْزَلُ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ، وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا.
English Translation
It is narrated by Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) and Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stayed in Mecca for ten years with the Quran being revealed to him, and he stayed in Medina for ten years.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا اور حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مکہ مکرمہ میں دس سال رہے جس میں آپ پر قرآن مجید نازل ہوتا رہا اور مدینہ منورہ میں دس سال رہے۔
